The anime series Shaman King is an adaptation of the manga of the same name, which was previously adapted as an anime in 2001. It pits shamans against each other in a contest held every 500 years to determine the next shaman king. I had hoped that there would already be some comments here that could explain why I found "Shaman King" so boring, because the anime actually has nice animations and also a more or less interesting story, but something bothered me and I was slowly starting to think that has withdrawn interest in this anime. Back when I saw it there were only 38 episodes and I really have no interest in watching anymore. The reviews here speak for themselves, which calms me down because it shows me that my gut feeling wasn't wrong. I haven't seen the original either.
